Key functional responsibilities: 1. Help young professionals and college graduates start and sustain new businesses with the potential for high growth 2. Work with the university channel partners and other ecosystem stakeholders aligned to the goals to establish WF model for creating new entrepreneurs a. Establish ‘Startup Labs’ run by student leaders to support student entrepreneurs through a structured pathway of learning, mentoring, coaching and access to funding channels b. Establish ‘Venture Fast Track’ program at University or other incubators, accelerators and designed to support a young aspiring or new entrepreneur to advance their startup and lead it to sustainability and growth. 3. Inspire, signup and engage high quality mentors and coaches excited to contribute to building the next generation of startups in the region 4. Help to localize the Wadhwani Support platform for startups with content, local mentors, coaches and relevant connects from the region 5. Market the programs successfully to sign up partners and to attract and engage the highest quality professionals and students aspiring to be entrepreneurs, student entrepreneurs and startups.

Skills & Experience: - 15+ years of experience with at least 5 years launching and managing outcome driven programs from end to end while managing teams - Experience working across at least 3-4 countries in the region including Kenya - Experience in the startup ecosystem including an understanding of what startups need to succeed - Experience with incubators, accelerators and higher education entrepreneurship ecosystem - Very comfortable working with technology platforms as a key enabler in delivering services to the stakeholders - Very crisp and strong communication, written, spoken, and presentation oriented - Ability to hold their own with conviction when working with senior leadership including heads of incubators, senior entrepreneurs and mentors. - Good people management skills and strong project management skills.

Responsiblities:

• Build the network of Advisors with guidance from the Wadhwani Advantage Program Director
• Coordinate with the current Wadhwani Advantage network members
• Collaborate and bridge with Wadhwani Advantage transformation teams etc.

J0149 : Sr Researcher - Public Policy and Research
Role Context:
We are looking for a Senior Researcher to play an active role in research in the Public Policy space largely through economic reforms that could trigger job creation. The position would be based out of New Delhi. S/he will be tasked with undertaking research and enabling the Head of Public Policy & Research in generating insights into public policy interventions intended at job creation. The person will also be assisting in developing budgets and operating plans for the program. In order to be successful in this role, s/he will need to be a self-motivated and creative with excellent analytical, program management, administrative, communication & MS Office skills with extensive prior experience in both research and economic reforms.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Follow & Influence Central Reforms: Track the central government’s work to initiate significant, job-creating economic reforms, and develop plans to support such initiatives through publications, events, and other tools.
• Follow & Influence State-Level Reforms: Track state governments’ reform initiatives, and build projects to engage states to support and accelerate significant economic reforms.
• Government Engagement: Meet regularly with senior government officials, maintain ties with states’ non-resident commissioners and state governments.
• Boost States Research: Find new direct sources to help track state regulatory developments; use this to augment our existing States Weekly newsletter.
• Visibility: Host and attend key events; help publish regularly and assist in engagement with media including television.
• Liaison with Key Groups/ Partners: Engage partners such as industry and trade associations, think tanks, and other influential organizations.
• Coordinate U.S. Visits/ Speakers from India: Find out about visits to the U.S. by Indian state officials, and some Centre officials, and pursue meetings, engagements, etc.
• Schedule India Visits by U.S. Staff: When U.S.-based CSIS staff visit Delhi and states, organize meetings with key stakeholders.
• Social Media: Help manage the program’s social media outreach- Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and others as they are developed.

J0147 : Content Quality Analyst 2
Role Context:
he Quality Specialist will ensure curriculum standards especially in the context of digital/blended learning and delivery are upheld to ensure product integrity. This position requires frequent collaboration with Content Manager, Vendors, SMEs, and Content Writers.

Responsibilities / what you’ll be working on:
• Devise and establish company's quality procedures, standards and specifications for digital and blended learning
• Review course content for instructional design, content flow, learning effectiveness, language errors etc. to ensure high quality content is delivered for global audience
• Ensure that all the content is consistent and as per the set quality procedures and standards.
• Review customer requirements for content and making sure they are met
• Follow project plan and timelines of Content Manager throughout the content development and updating process.
• Ensure smooth and easy accessibility of content through LMS
• Ensure there are no errors on the LMS in content delivery
• Ensure there are no errors on the LMS in the customized/translated content
• Communicate errors and job hindrances to the assigned Content Manager.
• Assimilate feedback quickly and covert it to actionable

J0146 : Senior Program Manager_Wadhwani INVENT_Delhi
Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Manage the program through the life cycle of the program.
• Organize program and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
• Define the program processes, procedures, reporting, etc., to manage the program.
• Monitor progress to make sure that milestones are being met.
• Develop and manage Request for Proposal (RFP) process, large volumes of proposals and the peer review process for awarding grants
• Develop and manage databases of applications, subject matter experts, grantees, and business experts/advisors/mentors
• Monitor grantee’s project progress and manage reporting requirements and site visits
• Atomize all steps necessary in grant-making and monitoring process to scale the process
• Process grantee’s invoices for timely payments
• Coordinate the programmatic needs of the Government Bodies
• Working in a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities.
• Working with a large and diverse portfolio of high-tech grantee small businesses or start-ups for their growth and stakeholders to make communication
easy and transparent regarding programmatic processes and issues.
• Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle. Analyzing program risks.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Master’s /Ph.D. degree in science and engineering
• An MBA would be desirable
• 6-8 Yrs experience in program development, grant-making process, project coordination, database management, desktop publishing, & report writing
• Should have worked with Government Agencies and/or premier institutions/universities
• Proven experience in program management.
• Proven client-centric and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in Microsoft applications.
• Familiarity with social media
• Excellent writing skills in English, Attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
